Arthur Cassell Memorial Transitional House is a transitional living facility for fourteen homeless men who have a desire to live independently in the High Point community. The program which implements the Disease Model of Addiction to assist residents affect change. This is a Cognitive – Behavioral – Spiritual approach helps residents through the stages of transition from being homeless and jobless to obtaining employment and permanent housing and a sense of general well being.
The program has been in operation since June 2000 as a result of a donation from Arthur Cassell.
